âď¸ Field Trips
We love to explore local places and learn interesting things together. We have field trips for all ages of students.
âď¸ Events
We host events like a Talent Night, an Art, Science and History Fair, a Track & Field day, etc. We also host regular homeschool potlucks. We love hanging out with homeschool families!
âď¸ Moms' Nights
At STAR, we think it's important for moms to get together and fellowship with one another! Join us for our monthly moms' nights and meet other mamas who are in the same boat as you!
âď¸Â Potlucks
We have monthly potlucks for homeschool families, at noon on Fridays. First, we'll sing two hymns together and celebrate the birthdays of the month. Then, we'll pray and eat. Then, students will be broken into "Forms" (grade groups) and they will get to practice reciting a poem or verse in front of other students. Moms will be asked to lead these groups & students will be given a little piece of paper with some feedback about their speaking.
âď¸Â Book Clubs
Before the potlucks at 10:30 am, we have some optional book clubs. The book clubs will meet for an hour and a half. and students will discuss the book and do a craft or project together.

The Requirements
STAR is a Christian community and we want all of our events to honor our faith. Every family must agree to abide by our Rules and Expectations to attend STAR-sponsored events. Families will be removed from the newsletter & will not be allowed to attend STAR events if they break our rules.Â

The Cost
There is no cost to join our Facebook group. Just request to join us. Some events & activities may have a fee.
